If you are filming in Park County with 150 or more people on-site and/or a project with a duration of longer than two weeks, you are required to obtain a county permit. There is a non-refundable application fee of $50.
PLEASE ADHERE TO ANY AND ALL FIRE BAN RESTRICTIONS THAT MAY BE IN PLACE.
You will need to apply for a permit anytime you are on US Forest Service, BLM or any Federal land. Although, a recent ruling states you do not need a permit when fewer than six people are filming. Check with your local forest service office.
PLEASE ADHERE TO ANY AND ALL FIRE BAN RESTRICTIONS THAT MAY BE IN PLACE.
Any activity which may cause a significant impact to traffic, requires closure, restriction or activity requires a permit. The Colorado State Patrol (CSP) coordinates all special event road closures in conjunction with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT).

While filming on private property is a preferred method, you must verify who has legal ownership. Even on private land, if you have 150+ people and/or a duration o fmore than two weeks, you will be required to obtain a county permit.
